Our one-time activity fee brings entertainment to the school to enrich the children’s learning experience throughout the year. Some special events include:
CCFD & CCPD
In October, firefighters and police officers from Chesterfield County teach our children about these very important community helpers.
Thanksgiving Feast
This is an annual November tradition. Our small size allows us to open up the school area and provide a child-friendly meal to share with our invited family guests.
Christmas Pageant
Another annual tradition, our children practice very hard to present the story of Jesus’ birth in December through action, songs, chimes, and bells.
Jonathan the Juggler

No introduction needed! We welcome him back every year to enjoy his zany fun and expert juggling. Check out his website.
Mr. Jeff Beatman

A longtime Chesterfield County Public Schools educator visits to sing songs and tell stories. Check out his website.
Dad’s Night
In March we hold a theme-based evening of games, crafts, and snacks so the children can enjoy special one-on-one time with their dads, grandfathers, or uncles.
Moving & Grooving with Adelle
Miss Adelle gets the children energized with silly songs and dancing.
Rockwood Nature Center
Have you ever wanted to pet a snake or turtle? Most of the children are ready and willing to do so when Rockwood Nature Center brings their scaly reptiles!
Mom’s Day
In May we hold a theme-based hour of fun with crafts, games, and snacks so the children can spend much-needed one-on-one time with their moms, grandmothers, and aunts.
Petting Zoo

Our year closes with an annual visit from a petting zoo. Who can resist feeding goats or cuddling with a llama?
